Need:  To implement a time management solution that would be robust, quick and error free. This solution would replaced the manual clock cards that were being used for attendance and time keeping.

Solution: 
After research and numerous tests, Wishlist proposed a biometric solution using fixed and mobile biometric readers on site locations which would operate over a WAN using a .net developed application to a central server at head office. Wishlist developed a customised time and attendance solution within Microsoft Dynamics NAV which catered for the organisation’s business rules. The Time and attendance solution (NAVTA) interfaced seamlessly with the rest of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV financial management modules.

Benefits: 

  • Time and attendance recorded by simply pressing a finger on a biometric reader.
  • Data is captured at all the company sites and is fed directly into Microsoft Dynamics NAV
    at head office making information available to management almost immediately.
  • The wage clerks were retrained to allocate employee hours worked against projects and cost centers
    and fraud and error related to employee clocking has been eliminated.
